2018 Shortlist announced!

The BAA 2018 Short List of finalist for this year’s British Archaeological Awards has just been released.

The British Archaeological Awards are Britain’s most prestigious independent awards, celebrating and showcasing the best in archaeology across the UK.

Established in 1976, they now encompass five Awards and two discretionary Awards and are a central event in the archaeological calendar.

The Awards’ mission is to promote archaeology to practitioners and the wider public by celebrating and sharing excellence, innovation and engagement in archaeology.  The 2018 Awards ceremony will take place in London on the 15th October.
